Help other players with useful, respectful contributions. These rules apply to comments, replies, display names, screenshots, titles, links and edits on Gaming.Tools websites that link to this page. They form part of our Terms and Conditions.

Keep it useful and respectful

  • Keep comments relevant to the game and the page or discussion. Questions, corrections and different opinions are welcome. Describe uncertainty rather than presenting guesses as facts.
  • Write clearly. Contributions in different languages are welcome.
  • Discuss ideas and gameplay without personal attacks, threats or targeted harassment.
  • Use an ordinary name or gaming handle. Do not impersonate other people or site staff.
  • Share only content you are entitled to publish and respect game creators' rights.

Content that is not allowed

  • Hate speech, discriminatory abuse, threats, harassment or encouragement of real-world harm.
  • Sexually explicit material, sexual exploitation, or graphic real-world violence.
  • Private personal information, exposed credentials or content that invades someone's privacy.
  • Spam, repetitive promotions, scams, deceptive links, malware or phishing.
  • Promotion of illegal goods or activities, unlawful content or copyright infringement.
  • Attempts to manipulate moderation, evade restrictions or interfere with the service.

A game's subject matter does not excuse abusive text or an inappropriate image. Keep screenshots and discussion suitable for a public gaming reference site.

Screenshot rules

Upload a clear, genuine screenshot from the relevant game that helps illustrate the page. Readable interface, map and inventory screenshots are welcome. Avoid memes, unrelated images, stock photos, commercial watermarks, explicit material and images too blurry or cropped to be useful. Titles and filenames must follow the same rules as other text. Remove personal or sensitive information before uploading. Use the file formats and size limits shown in the uploader.

How AI moderation works

Our contribution tools send new submissions and edits for AI screening before publishing them. The AI returns an approval or rejection based on relevance, inappropriate content, spam and the rules appropriate to the contribution type. Approved contributions can become public. Rejected submissions are not published, and the submission interface shows the reason when available. An unavailable service or incomplete assessment does not count as approval; try again when the service is available.

Moderation decisions are made by AI. AI can make mistakes and does not verify ownership of material or guarantee that game information is correct. If a submission is rejected, read the reason and correct or clarify the contribution before resubmitting. Our Privacy Policy explains what is sent for AI processing and the records we retain.

Edits and deletion

An edit must pass screening before it replaces an approved contribution. A rejected edit leaves the previously approved version in place. Rejecting an edit to a parent comment does not remove its replies. Deleting the parent comment removes the parent and its replies. You can use the available deletion controls to remove your own contributions.

Content can also be removed to address legal obligations, privacy or rights complaints, abuse or security issues. Removal is separate from approving an otherwise rejected submission.

For a privacy, safety or rights concern, contact privacy@gaming.tools with the exact page URL, the contribution concerned and a brief explanation. For a submission error, include the displayed error and when it occurred. Avoid sending extra personal information or copies of harmful material.

This is a contact route for the site operator. It does not create an automatic moderation appeal or promise a manual approval of a rejected submission.
