Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

This notice covers cookies and similar browser storage used by gaming.tools and the Gaming.Tools websites that link to it, including Paliapedia. Read it with our Privacy Policy for information about personal data and your rights.

What browser storage does

Cookies are small values saved by a website in your browser. Local storage and similar technologies can also remember information between visits. Some values expire at the end of a session; others remain until they expire or you clear them. Sites, features, advertising partners and your choices determine which technologies are used.

  • Essential operation: session and authentication cookies, security and anti-abuse controls, and records of privacy choices support the service you request.
  • Site preferences: language, appearance and saved tool or map settings can be remembered locally so you do not need to select them on every visit.
  • Advertising: Nitro/Overwolf and advertising partners may use cookies, identifiers and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, limit repetition, prevent fraud and personalize advertising where permitted by your choices and applicable law.

The consent interface provides details of the purposes, vendors and storage information available for the site and your region. See Nitro's Privacy Policy and partner disclosures for additional information. Browser storage inspection tools can show the values currently stored for a particular site.

Your privacy choices

Use the privacy controls in the footer of the game website where you saw the advertisement to reopen Nitro's consent interface where it is available for your region. You can review purposes and vendors and change or withdraw consent there. Where provided, the "Do Not Sell" link in the footer opens the advertising opt-out control. Declining optional advertising consent does not prevent you from reading the public tools and information.

Make changes on the website where you saw the advertisement, using the same browser and device. A choice on gaming.tools should not be assumed to update a separate domain such as Paliapedia, another browser or another device. Repeat your choice there as needed. Clearing cookies or using private browsing may require you to choose again.

Controls depend on your region and the site's consent service. The preferences button appears only when the consent interface is available. If you expect it to be available but cannot see it, reload the site; the consent service may still be loading or blocked. JavaScript is needed to use the consent interface. For help or to exercise a privacy right, contact privacy@gaming.tools and identify the affected site.

Browser settings and retention

Your browser lets you inspect, block or delete cookies and other site storage. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or saved settings from working. Deleting browser storage does not delete your account, published contributions or records held by us or providers. Contact us for those requests. Storage lifetimes vary by purpose and provider; use the consent interface and provider disclosures for the information relevant to advertising storage.
